Cheesecake-filled Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

I have been searching for a yummy new bar cookie recipe and recently came across this recipe on Pinterest and knew I had found “the one”. I love the traditional brown sugar & butter rich chocolate chip cookie. But, I instantly became obsessed with the idea of stuffing classic cheesecake between two layers of cookie perfection!? Really, it wasn’t a matter of “IF” I would actually make this recipe — but “WHEN”.

Meet the bunnies!

After 7 weeks of loving Lula & Bubba’s babies, they have finally grown up enough to be able to tell them apart. As I announced in an earlier post, we figured out a few weeks ago that we had three boys and one girl. Turkey & Cheese Melts ((It’s what’s for dinner))

Sounds simple right? Turkey & Cheese melted on something. Oh but trust me, they are a pleasure – both to eat & to make. Busy summer nights are tricky for sit down family dinners. Spicy Salsa ((really spicy))

I LOVE chips and salsa! It is one of my top 3 favorite foods ((next to almond cake with warm buttercream icing and fried chicken with homemade ranch))! I also love making my own salsa.
