Oh boy! After a week of meals come Friday night, I am ready to call the pizza delivery man! But I forced myself to pull out one more meal. ((Who am I kidding, there is a meal coming for Saturday too!)) I sure am glad I persevered! This one was a total winner. The entire herd larped it up — there was even an elbow jab or two for the last crispy bits.

Cheesecake is Shepy Ray’s favorite dessert. So, as his 9th ((wow — seems like he should be 4, sniff)) birthday approached, I started making cheesecake plans. Shepy wanted Sour Cherry Topped Homemade Vanilla Cheesecake. However, I had something more birthday-ish” in mind. Something sprinkl-ey and layered with buttercream. Yes, I went there! Okay folks, I thought the name of this dish was Tacos “EL” Pastor. Apparently, it isn’t “EL”, it’s “AL”. That in and of itself is proof I am a “winger”. Not sure what “winger” means in this context??
