 This cookbook is PACKED with useable, tested & TASTY recipes. Well, it should be, because it was written by THE Helen Corbitt, Director of Food Services for Neiman Marcus in the 50’s and 60’s. As a matter of fact, her famous poppyseed dressing is still being used by Neiman Marcus to.this.day. AND yes, that recipe is in this cookbook!

Mrs. Corbitt loved food, and loved writing about food ((hey, a lady after my own heart!)). She wrote numerous cookbooks, articles and taught many classes.

 i love that this book includes menus – that is so 1940’s and 50’s!

There are so many yummy recipes – but for some reason, small hot biscuits caught my eye today.

This book is in excellent shape, no tearing, or marking that I can see. There is some slight wear on the linen cover, but considering this book is over 60 years old – the condition is amazing.
