There is very little known about this heroes story – except some bits you may piece together using “the Google” and the information found in this ((out of print)) autobiographical book.

He opens the book by telling of his time as a gunnery officer in September of 1939.

If you are familiar in the least with world history, you know that, as my dad would say “the cheese in binding” in these late months of 1939.

Jubilee gives a 269 page account of his perspective and experiences leading up to during and through the conclusion of WWII.

I will not ruin the end for you – but let’s just say I was talking about it for days.

If you like history and particularly WWII history, and want a rare look into the life of a man who loved his country, but even more loved right and fair and good. This book is for you.

Jubilee included 34 photographs that help you, as the reader, to put yourself in his shoes – as much as possible.

The book, pages and binding are in excellent condition. As noted on the inner cover, the book was a Christmas gift in 1954. That little detail, endears the book even more to me – and is the only writing I noticed.

I have several additional WWII books that will be listed in the coming days. ((As a teaser, look up “They Call it Pacific, by Clark Lee” 1943, 1st edition. It is an amazing book, I am still reading through it.))
