This cookbook is a real treasure AND a staple to any cookbook collection. Loaded with all of the essential recipes, presented in a clear, easy to follow method — it really does putting the “joy” in cooking.

As you can see, the spine is taped. I am sure the previous owned did this to limit tearing of the linen cover. Actually, it worked! There is little tearing.

Inside the book, all of the pages are holding in place tightly, but as you can see in the above photo, there is a tear at the beginning of the book.

The pages are in great shape, I found no crimped corners, torn pages or writing on the recipes.

Oh, and this book was previously owned by “Oklahoma’s Oldest Jeweler, since 1892…”, FYI!!
