On a memory and a prayer…
I wish there was nothing to remember.
No sounds, no words, no sights and no stories. No losses, no sorrow, no shock and no ‘after’. But, I have all of those memories and so many more words can’t capture.
So, on this day there is much to remember – and I do.
Today, I am joining these memories and emotions with a prayer for our nation:
Oh, Lord let Your words in Ezekiel 36:35-36 be true for our nation. Let our land that was ruined be like the garden of Eden. The cities that were destroyed now be protected – to Your glory, at Your hand. Let all nations who see us know that You have rebuilt what was destroyed and have planted what was empty. When You speak, oh Lord, You keep your promises. Praise be to You. Amen.
