For Sale ((by Kade)) – graphic/modern handmade glass dish, 15″ x 4.25″

This is Kade’s first shop listing and there is a great reason for his lack of presence: he keeps buying things that we later discover are worth $500. He has an eye for awesome and this glass art is a perfect example of his talent!

I wish I knew so much about glass art pieces that I could say with certainty:

This is blown
made in Poland
mid-century

But I don’t know anything — other than:

It is absolutely gorgeous, with a whisper of funk
totally unique
it is a type of fused glasswork ((I just learned about fused glasswork))
made by a person who has clear talent
purchased from the estate of “Oklahoma’s oldest jeweler, since 1892”

We walked into the sale, and Kade immediately grabbed this piece and asked me if I thought it would be good for our shop. I was wishing I found it first and congratulated him on the great find.
