Simple 2-Ingredient Belgian Chocolate Ganache ((Part 4 of the “BUSY Mom Cooks” recipe series))

This is a “pull a rabbit out of the hat” recipe if ever there was one. You know what I mean, right??

This ganache is one of those recipes that seems like it will be so hard to make — but with, 2 ingredients, a little heat and the stir of your handy spoon you have created magic!

Here is what you need:

  • 4 oz of high-quality chocolate ((I prefer Trader Joe’s Belgian Milk Chocolate))
  • 1/2 c heavy whipping cream

image

Microwave on HIGH in 30 second increments, stirring between — until the chocolate is melted.

Stir to combine and pour over your buttercream topped cake OR serve with fresh fruit.

Ingredients
  1. 4 oz high quality Belgian Milk or Dark Chocolate
  2. 1/2 c heavy whipping cream
Instructions
  1. Place the chocolate & cream in a medium-sized microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH in 30 second increments, stirring in between until melted. It took me 4–30 second sessions to completely melt the chocolate. Once melted, stir vigorously to combine. Pour over a buttercream iced cake or use as a dip for fresh fruit.
Notes
  1. This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled depending the quantity you need.
