Oven Roasted Autumn Squash with Candied Bacon & Fresh Herbs ((another Sinkology recipe!!))

I have always loved November, and when I say “loved” in mean LOVED! That constant chill in the air, the perfect balance between days with bright blue skies and gray, dark cloudy skies, an endless string of sweater weather and then there is the food. Oven Roasted ((Brown-Sugared)) Butternut Squash with Bacon and Fresh Herbs

If all sides were judged solely for appearance, this one would be the all around winner. I mean really, can there BE a prettier side dish ((said in the best Chandler Bing voice ever)). As I took the first bite, I remembered how delicious these treats are and thought to myself “Why haven’t I made these??”. That mental whisper was quickly followed by a directive: “You will be making these and sharing them with the world ((via Food for a Year — however small that world may be)). Because, what the world needs now is this cookie bar perfection.”
